This site is dedicated to the pursuit of growing in your own food colder climates. Many think that cold climate vegetables are limited to root crops such as potatoes, carrots and turnips. However, this simply isn’t true. Many northern gardeners pride themselves on growing bountiful harvests of peppers, eggplants and even more exotic vegetables in a colder northern climate.
After reading a bit, you will find that growing in colder climates isn’t all that different than growing in milder, more southern regions. The process is essentially the same. However, there are some specialized techniques that will help you be a more productive vegetable gardener.
